Installation

The installation process will be discussed by your sales rep prior to you approving your quote. Typically you can expect materials to arrive 1-2 business days prior to your start date weather pending.

On the day of the paver patio project, your Sales rep or Project Manager will meet with the crew to go over-spraying the lines to make sure your project turns out exactly the way we designed it with the correct square footage.

The installation will then begin with tearing out of existing structure or grass then we will dig out if needed to get the proper slope to ensure proper drainage.

Once the area is level we lay the paver patio base and compact it so the foundation for your pavers is strong and dense. We use a quality base here, never sand. This attention to detail and not cutting corners makes a huge difference, the foundation for your patio pavers needs to be properly done. Some companies cut costs here by using sand, this typically results in the patio pavers becoming unlevel after a year from not being supported with a good base.

The installation will then begin with the laying of the pavers for the paver patio. While laying the pavers we level them throughout while checking to make the line straight or the proper design is being followed. When all pavers are laid then the contractor will start cutting the pieces that need to be cut with a concrete saw to make sure all the pavers flow and are uniform. The contractor will then broom the brush in the polymeric sand.

You also have the option of sealing the pavers that give a clean, polished look while protecting your pavers from cracks, and weed growth, and making them more weather resistant. Base vs how much is required

Driveways should be 6-8 inches of paver base and walkways/patios 3-4 inches of paver base. The base needs to be increased for driveways to sustain a car being driven or parking on it. Most companies will cut corners here to cut the cost of materials.
